Linnette A. Harrigan is a New York City born Writer, Producer, Music Supervisor and an emerging Documentary Filmmaker.
She’s a graduate of Hunter College with a degree in Media Production.
Since childhood, she’s been passionate about storytelling as well as the creative and business sides of music.
For the past 10 years, Harrigan has been a freelance Music Supervisor and Entrepreneur for films, television, commercials and video game productions.
She’s written short-form content for such networks as BET (Black Entertainment Television).
Recently, Ms. Harrigan served as the music supervisor for
"Motian In Motion, “ a film documentary feature on the life of iconic Jazz drummer, percussionist and composer, Paul Motian.
In addition, she’s been an independent speaker, publisher and mentor representing and coaching artists and musicians from around the world.
Ms. Harrigan has most recently pivoted and is focusing a great deal of her talents and energies on writing, producing and directing music driven projects and documentaries.
In 2022, she completed course work and received a Certificate in Documentary Filmmaking from The New York Film Academy.
She is currently in development for a music documentary based on works of the 1970s, 1980’s and 90’s, which reflects the world she and her peers grew up in.
Recent Awards include, the 2017 Young Gifted & Black Entrepreneurial Award.
The 2020 Corporate Vision Media Innovator Awards also recognized her for considerable growth in music & entertainment.
